Atlanta native Chip Wade has building in his blood. Coming from a long line of experienced engineers, carpenters and craftsmen. Chip began working with his father at an early age – and over the years developed an interest in design and the creation of one of a kind builds. Chip transitioned into media in 2007, lending his carpentry skills to the Atlanta team of HGTV’s Designed to Sell. Since then, Chip has appeared on HGTV’s Elbow Room, Curb Appeal: The Block, Ellen’s Design Challenge, HGTV’s Design Star, Wise Buys, Super Great Rooms, Hotel Impossible, Oprah, Rachel Ray, The Weather Channel, Fox News, NBC and CNN. As an Emmy Award-winning host, designer and executive producer for networks such as HGTV, FOX, FOOD and DIY, Chip has become known for his creative direction and innovative problem solving. The pinhoti trail, a 350+ mile hiking and ATV trail, literally borders the property giving access to OHV trailers (for ATVs, side by sides and dirt bikes) through the national forest on designated trails for over 20 miles with no people or structures anywhere in site - true wilderness.
