A year after launching the LIFECORE brand at The International Surface Event (TISE) 2018: SURFACES | StonExpo/Marmomac | TileExpo, the LIFECORE brand was back at this year’s TISE 2019 market with a new product category, H2OME. H2OME (pronounced H-2-HOME) is a real waterproof hardwood wood product created to serve as a durable solution for every room. The product comes in a variety of styles, features a SPC core, and ZERO-ADD technology for low VOCs.
At the LIFECORE booth, visiting attendees came away impressed by the H2OME visuals. The brand made all their styles and designs available for the public to see. However, the main draw to the booth was the brand putting their flooring in a water feature to prove the product could withstand constant exposure to water for up to 72 hours, which is the length of the water submersion warranty that comes with the product.
The buzz LIFECORE created at the show has distributors eager to launch this new collection, slated for a summer release.
During the show, we had the opportunity to learn more about H2OME from Jim Fiore, U.S. Vice President of the LIFECORE brand. In our interview with him (pictured below), Jim talks about how the company stumbled upon the waterproof technology and goes into detail about the two-step waterproofing process.
