From indoors to outdoors, today’s tile trends are all about inspiring the senses — be it reconnecting with nature (a direct response to our hyper tech-driven world) and warm, earthy hues; paying homage to designs of the past and invoking a feeling of nostalgia; or, finding energy in bold colors and rich textures.
Daltile's Laura Grilli, senior product development manager, notes a growing demand for wall tile and mosaics that offer a way array of shapes and textures to fit any kind of style from transitional to the most modern and playful. Geometric shapes and metallic finishes will also be popular.
The palette of colors is also warming up, a trend LA designer Jennifer Farrell, TISE 2020 design visionary, noted during her presentation at the show. She highlighted a shift away from the brighter teals and blues to a warmer palette of sunset colors such as smoked rose, gray sky and hazy sunlight. Read More >
