Q.E.P. Co., Inc. used TISE 2020 to unveil their brand new flooring division – Harris Flooring Group (HFG). This new division is the combination of their legacy Harris brand, along with the recently acquired Naturally Aged Flooring and Kraus brands. The decision to create this division had one main focus – the customers. HFG aims to supply an expanded innovative and stylish flooring selection, while providing customers with a simpler experience centered on better service and increased value.
For the division’s introduction to the flooring industry, HFG designed their booth around the theme “Rooted in 1898, Branching Out for Today.” This theme highlights the company’s 200+ years of combined experience and willingness to fulfill the needs of today’s customers.
While the booth attracted many attendees because of HFG’s new product offerings, the main attraction of the booth had to be the HFG family tree. HFG staff invited new and existing customers to join their family tree by having them sign their names along the branches of a wall-sized tree graphic. HFG staff also signed the tree placing their names along the roots. The company says that this “reinforces the idea that our strength behind product begins at our roots, our people."
The TISE team was able to get an exclusive tour of the HFG booth and also participated in the signing of our names on the family tree!
The new products that HFG displayed caught the eyes of TISE attendees. Each of their brands had new product releases:
- Harris presented the expansion of the Americana Escape Collection, featuring new tones in the wide and long platform (1/2” x 7-1/2” x RL up to 95.5”) and expansion of species in hickory and maple
- Naturally Aged Flooring introduced the Summit Series, featuring sophisticated styles in ash and oak in varied width platforms (7-1/2” and 8-5/8”)
- Kraus introduced new SPC products - Entrend Shoal Bay and Amazonian
