There WILL be a TISE event in January 2021, and we’re working diligently to deliver an impactful and engaging event that will include new technologies and digital opportunities. We want to do what is best for our customers.
The International Surface Event (TISE) will be organized in accordance with Informa’s AllSecure health and safety standard. Watch the video to the left for a quick overview of the 10 Key Commitments. As the world’s leading events’ organizer, Informa has developed a detailed set of enhanced measures to provide the highest levels of hygiene and safety at our events, providing everyone with reassurance and confidence they are participating in a safe and controlled environment.
We’re planning to take numerous actions, which could include spacing out chairs and tables, mask distribution, contactless badge pickup, and a no-handshake policy among others, all aligned with local and global guidance. We’ll also have hand sanitizing stations throughout the area.
We are speaking with our community partners daily to assess what the right decision is for them, and that will be the leading decision maker. We are beginning conversations with Mandalay Bay on safety protocols, and are continuing to work to ensure we have a productive event. We will be following the appropriate health and sanitization measures as advised by the CDC, and state or local governance. Our aim is to organize the event with the highest levels of hygiene and cleanliness throughout, which means working with our partners and vendors to ensure the space is clean, well-ventilated, and high-touch areas are regularly disinfected.
We’re looking forward to gathering with our industry’s leaders to respond to the impacts of this unprecedented time.
