Guided by Informa AllSecure, a detailed set of measures developed collaboratively with industry associations, event organizers, and venues, The International Surface Event aims to deliver the highest levels of hygiene and safety at its event, providing everyone with reassurance and confidence they are participating in a safe and controlled environment. One major initiative for this is Non-Contact Registration.

NON-CONTACT REGISTRATION

Through increased use of technology, The International Surface Event aims to minimize lines and entry transactions. Visitors must register online before arriving at the show entrances enabling barcode scanning for contactless entry. Registration and customer service areas will have a partition between visitors and staff. Self-serve name tag printed stations are available throughout the event. Mobile badges will be used for attendees to be scanned by exhibitors to receive information.


Registration Update FAQ

Registration and customer service areas will have a partition between visitors and staff. Self-serve name tag printed stations are available throughout the event. Mobile badges will be used for attendees to be scanned by exhibitors to receive information.

All attendees are to register online for the event. You may register from a desktop computer or any mobile device. TISE will not have full registration customer service unless you are having an issue registering. TISE will have a customer service registration area at the show to accomodate those who have had issues registering online. 

Your badge is now on your mobile device. You will NOT go to a registration counter to print a physical badge or grab a lanyard. Head with your mobile device directly to any of the main show floor entrances during show floor hours to gain access to the exhibit hall.

You will receive your unique QR code to access the exhibit hall via text message or email (from [email protected]) 1-2 weeks prior to the event. This QR code will be your digital credential and provides direct access on to the show floor – no waiting in a registration line and no registration check in required! Simply head to any of the main entrances when you arrive to the event.

If you do not have a mobile device, let us know during online registration. Registration customer service will contact you with information on how to access the exhibit hall. If you do not have this information before arriving on-site and you have registered online, please visit the registration customer service area by the show floor to get your credentials for access to the event.

Your mobile badge also serves as the badge scan. Simply present your mobile badge to an exhibitor to be scanned for information from them. If you are not using a mobile device and are using the alternate badge option, simply present your badge card to the exhibitor for scanning. 

TISE will have a customer service registration area at the show to accomodate those who have had issues registering online or utilizing their mobile device. 

All attendees should have some form of identification showing for others to see. You may use your own personal business name tag or company provided name tag. However, TISE is providing the ability to print pre-populated name tags from our registration vendor that you may either print at home before you leave to come to the event or on-site from the name tag printing kiosks throughout the hallways at the event. TISE will have clear name tag holders available at any of the main entrances when you access the show floor.

TISE will have printing kiosks throughout the hallways at the event for self-serve printing of your name tag. You will also have the option to login to your registration dashboard up to two weeks before the event to print and bring your name tag with you to the event. TISE will have clear name tag holders for you available at any of the main entrances when you access the show floor.

Make sure you download your badge to your mobile device. Once you have your digital badge, you may go straight to any of the main entrances to go to the show floor. No need to go to registration or wait in any registration lines.
