We value your participation at The International Surface Event (tise) and want to ensure you have the most updated information and alerts possible. Some parties will try to take advantage of your participation in events such as ours. We have put together a list of the current scams for your review including Fair Guide, Show Program, Hotel Booking and the Attendee List Scam. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by these solicitations. Please know that The International Surface Event (tise) is NOT involved with these unrelated entities. We take this matter very seriously and will do whatever possible to protect our exhibitors, partners and attendees. If you are contacted by a company that you feel is violating any of the below warnings, please immediately contact the event at info@intlsurfaceevent.com.

Email Alert
Due to the deluge of unsolicited and unwanted spam in email boxes, spam filters can prevent our emails from getting to you. As this is our main avenue of communication to our exhibitors, please add these email addresses as a "Safe Sender" in your email service. You may have to check your junk mailbox occasionally to find us. Exhibitor bulletins, announcements, show updates and other pertinent exhibitor information will be sent to the email address you provide; please help us make sure it arrives in your inbox.

List Scam Alert

Do not get scammed. Companies are representing themselves as the agent for distributing the attendee list for tise, and have contacted exhibitors and partners, and likely companies outside our exhibiting list, to solicit list rental or list selling of the tise attendee list. tise is the only intellectual property owner of lists and data pertaining to and does not distribute the list. No other company is authorized to distribute or sell any lists for the event. If you have questions or receive this type of communication, please email the show team.

Hotel Booking Alert
Several housing agencies have represented themselves as the hotel booking agents for The International Surface Event (tise), and have contacted exhibitors and likely attendees to solicit hotel reservations. onPeak is the only official housing agent tise. No other housing company or travel agent is authorized to place hotel reservations for the event. Reservations made through any other agency cannot be guaranteed by tise and may result in a loss of deposit, additional charges, incorrect placement, or inflated room rates. Please use the online hotel reservation system or official housing forms on this website to avoid confusion, additional charges, and unsatisfactory service.

News from IAEE
The International Association of Exhibition and Events (IAEE) is pleased to announce it has been working with the FTC to confirm it has stopped the Construct Data/Fair Guide scam that many IAEE members have received and asks members to forward any solicitations received since February to info@iaee.com. Fair Guide Warning
You may have recently received correspondence from the above-mentioned companies that referenced The International Surface Event (tise). The company that sent this letter, Construct Data, requested that you update your contact information in order to “keep the Fair Guide up-to-date” and will invoice you for their services at a later date. These Fair Guides are not a tise publication or website. tise is in no way involved with or in business with Fair Guide, Fairguide.com, Construct Data, or AUMA. tise did not supply these companies with your contact information and has no affiliation with them. Whether you decide to list your company in any Fair Guide is solely your decision. It does not affect your relationship with tise in any way. tise maintains its own records of exhibitors and produces its own show program and event guide for the event. We regret any inconvenience caused by this solicitation, as well as the manner in which you were solicited. tise had no knowledge of the solicitation of its exhibitors by these unrelated entities.

tise never distributes the attendee list. If you are contacted by an external contact offering you the attendee list for tise, please be on high alert and forward these inquiries to info@intlsurfaceevent.com. We are constantly working to limit and prevent scams against our exhibiting companies and partners.

Are you looking for the exhibitor service manual for the current year's event in Las Vegas? Login to your exhibitor portal to view the exhibitor service manual. It will appear there when ready, generally early Fall.

The exhibitor service manual is every exhibitors complete resource for discovering the resources, forms, deadlines, vendors, and more for the event. If you have questions about logistics for the event, please reach out to the tise Operations Team.

tise works diligently with the event's service provider, Freeman, to build the most efficient move-in/move-out schedule possible for the scale of event tise is. Generally the schedule is ready in early Fall and will appear in your exhibitor portal once complete. You may also discover news and highlights from the tise Operations Team in the exhibitor insider emails that deliver from the team each month beginning in September through the event.

HOUSING
onPeak is the only OFFICIAL housing provider for The International Surface Event (tise) and therefore the only company that can sell rooms in our official housing blocks. Housing providers other than onPeak are not able to secure rooms within the official housing blocks.

EXHIBITOR APPOINTED CONTRACTORS
An Exhibitor Appointed Contractor (EAC) is any company, other than official vendors/service contractors (i.e. Freeman Decorating), that an exhibitor chooses to hire for the installation or dismantling of their booth. EACs are NOT allowed to provide any of the following exclusive show services:

• Booth Cleaning
• Catering
• Electrical
• Freight Handling
• Rigging (Hanging Signs/Equipment)
• Internet
• Plumbing
• Security
• Telecommunications

The tise Customer Invites Program is a marketing services that we offer for free to give you a helping hand in marketing your booth to potential customers and prospects.

To have the most successful exhibiting experience possible, it is very important to promote your presence at tise to all of your existing customers and prospects. The good news is that we have made doing so incredibly easy!

BEST OF tise AWARDS

The Best Of tise Awards is an annual awards program for exhibiting companies whose product, program, service, business practice and/or booth design are “best of” in their class. The Best Of tise Awards winners for SURFACES and STONE neighborhoods are determined by a panel of judges appointed by the official publication sponsors: Floor Covering News and Stone World. The winners are announced and awarded right on the show floor.
